Scope and Responsibility
The Senior Analyst, Business Quality ensures the food safety and quality of products manufactured via the North American supply chain network that are distributed through NAFS. This position will be the quality coordinator for the Canadian foodservice business team on product quality, food safety, and customer support. This position will be responsible for gathering data and input for quality and food safety decisions at external locations on behalf of the Campbell Soup Company.

Principal Accountabilities
• Ensures the foodservice contract manufacturing facilities (3+) produce safe, wholesome, and quality products for NAFS.
• Audits and frequently visits NAFS co-manufacturers.
• Works with NAFS co-manufacturers & Business Quality Director to improve product quality and reduce food safety risk.
• Ensure food safety & quality conformance during new product start ups and line extensions.
• Ensures that NAFS co-manufacturers have the needed quality documentation from CSC to consistently produce wholesome quality products.
• Provide technical expertise on product conformance quality to co-manufacturers.
• Investigates and resolves NAFS quality complaints.
• Ensures quality and wholesomeness of imported foods for Canada food service.
• Regularly visits CSC facilities that supply Canada food service products.
• Investigates and resolves quality complaints.
• Canada food service business team point person for quality.
• Supports with Quality Director investigation and resolution into NAFS customer & consumer complaints.
• With Quality Director responds to customer inquiries/ surveys/ questionnaires into quality and food safety programs, and standard product label information.
• Perform necessary audits of NAFS ingredient and packaging suppliers.
• Support NAFS in establishing required protocols and quality products.
Knowledge, skills and experience needed
• Experience in a QA roles within the food industry.
• Working knowledge of food safety guidelines, CFIA, FDA, HACCP, ISO, and safety standards.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
• Proven leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of frozen and canned soups, entrees, and pastry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence others.

Education and Experience
• Education required: BS in Food Science, Microbiology, Engineering or relevant field
• Education desired: Advanced Degree
• Years of relevant experience: Minimum of 5 years food industry, 2+ years experience in Quality.
